Junior High Youth Group
Welcome 7th and 8th graders to the Junior High Youth group of Leo United Methodist Church. We are a fun, crazy, Jesus loving group of people that meet every Sunday for fellowship, fun, food, and worship! We want to see you!

Meet the CRAZY ones of our group, our LEADERS:
Mary Halter: Mary has been working at Leo United Methodist Church for the past 8 years. She graduated from Carroll High School in 1996. In 2001, she graduated from Indiana University, Fort Wayne with a degree in Elementary Education. She is married to our other crazy leader, Austin. They have been married for 5 years and have a dog named Oliver. Besides working at Leo UMC, Mary also is a 2nd grade teacher at Huntertown Elementary. Mary is an insane fan of Indiana basketball and football. Her hobbies include reading and riding with Austin on his bike.
Austin Halter: Austin has been helping out with the junior high youth of Leo for the past 8 years. He graduated from Leo High School in 1998. In 2002, he graduated from Tri-State University in Angola (soon to be Trine University), with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He is an engineer for Kaiser Tool Company. Austin's hobbies include riding his Harley-Davidson and making sure that his yard looks like a PGA golf course.
Josh Blauser: The craziest of them all has been helping out the youth of Leo for the past 4 years. He graduated from Leo High School in 1999. He is a graduate of Purdue University (BOILER UP). He, like Austin, is also an electrical engineer. He works for Verizon. Josh's hobbies include sports, card games (he is a Euchre pro), and playing the drums.
